- If enabled messages will not immediately be removed from the POP3 server when collected.
You may want to consult the documentation for the account you wish to collect mail from because some require additional settings in that account.

- If enabled by the system administrator you will be able to have messages collected from the POP3 server checked for SPAM.
When this option is enabled there are options for what action to take when a message is flagged as spam (Move or Delete). If Move is selected then there will be a list of folders to where spam messages will be added. If Delete is selected then the message will be deleted.

- Clicking this button will verify the system is able to connect to the POP3 server and the Username and Password are valid.
To work correctly the POP3 server must support the UIDL POP3 extension, when the account settings are tested this capability will be verified and an error will be shown if it is not supported.
